1. Information we collect

Account information (Google sign-in). When you sign in with Google, we receive information that Google shares with us through OAuth, typically including your name, email address, and profile photo. We store this in your account profile so you can use signed-in features (for example profile, subscriptions, or staff tools if you are authorised).

Subscription & billing. If you subscribe, we may collect your phone number and subscription status. Payment card details are processed by Razorpay; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Usage & analytics. We may collect aggregate traffic data (such as page views and visits) via privacy-friendly analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand how the site is used. This is used to improve the magazine experience and is not sold to advertisers.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and providers may process IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, and site performance.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you via Google
• To provide magazine content, reader features, and (when enabled) paid subscriptions
• To process payments and manage subscription status through Razorpay
• To operate our staff admin tools for authorised editors and admins
• To improve the site, fix issues, and keep the service secure
• To contact you about your account, billing, or important service updates
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising profiling beyond what is required to run the signed-in service.

3. Google user data

Our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the Google account scopes needed to sign you in (identity / email / basic profile) and use that data to operate your Mystic Aura account.

4. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us run the site — for example authentication and database hosting, media storage (Cloudflare R2), analytics, and payment processing (Razorpay)
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public

These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in (session / OAuth) and securing the site. Analytics tools may use cookies or beacons as described by those providers. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.

6. Data retention

We keep account and profile data while your account remains active. Billing and subscription records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.

7. Your choices and rights

• You can sign out at any time from your profile.
• You can disconnect Google access for this app from your Google Account permissions settings.
• To update or delete your account data, email us at mysticaura.fashion@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention requirements.

8. Children

Mystic Aura is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our size and the nature of the data (including HTTPS and access controls). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International processing

We are based in India. Our service providers may process data in other countries. By using the site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in locations outside your state or country, including where privacy laws may differ.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
